Non-binding contact

It is only natural that you want to discuss your case before choosing a lawyer. We offer a non-binding conversation by phone or chat.

Free legal aid:

In certain types of cases, the cost of legal assistance can be fully or partially covered by the state.

We investigate whether you have a type of case that is covered by the scheme for free legal aid, as well as whether you meet the income conditions.

Currently the terms are:

  • Gross income below NOK 350,000 per year (single), or NOK 540,000 in total for your spouse/partner (if you have a partner or are married)
  • Net assets that do not exceed NOK 150,000.

Legal aid coverage

If you have a dispute, you will be able to get most of the legal costs covered by your insurance company.

You usually have legal aid cover through contents insurance or property insurance such as, for example. car or boat).

When legal aid cover is granted, as a general rule the insurance company will cover 80% of the cost after you have paid a fixed deductible (which is normally between NOK 3 - 6,000).

We will investigate whether you get legal aid coverage in your case, so that you can reduce your costs significantly. We also arrange the settlement with payment directly with the insurance company, so you don't have to think about this.

Terms

As a general rule, we use the Norwegian Bar Association's standard terms and conditions with changes as terms when entering into an agreement.

You will receive an assignment confirmation in two parts, as well as a privacy statement when entering into the assignment.
